Have you ever wanted to make something for your family gatherings, but everybody is picky and they don’t ever all agree on the same thing? Well here is a loved recipe that has been passed down for more than 50 years in my family.
Apple Sauce Cake Ingredients:
• 4 cups of flour
• 2 cups of sugar
• 1 teaspoon of cloves
• 1 ½ cups of melted butter
• 4 tablespoons of cocoa
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
• 3 cups of apple sauce
• 2 cups raisins or nuts
What to do:
Sift the flour, sugar and cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and soda. Add the melted butter to the applesauce and coca and mix. Stir in flour mixture and add raisins. Bake slowly in bake pan for 1 hour at 350 or 400.
