Why do people depend on it so much?

Can zodiac signs affect people’s lives, and friendships? Can they determine what you do or how you do it? Because when 2 million websites come up when searching ‘astrology’, then there must be thousands that depend on it at least on a daily basis. And the fact that 75% are women that are looking up their ‘Star Sign’ leaving 25% to be men, and then 7,000 ‘professional astrologers’ in the U.S, according to Statistic Brain. There has to some kind fascination with it! So then, let’s get to the bottom of it.

LaRue County High School completed a study done on Astrology; to determine if some students rely on horoscopes for daily life. Altogether 75 people took this survey, 29 being seniors, 19 juniors, 18 sophomores, and 6 freshmen, with more answering. Surprisingly 30% people don’t rely on their horoscope at all, 4% of people do, and 23% are dependent but also not really–they go half-and-half. Another part of this survey was how many times do they check zodiac sign; only 6% of people check their horoscope every day, 29% once a year, and 39% check theirs every now and then.

Do some students use horoscopes to determine their relationships that they have with people? Would they be friends with who they are already friends with because of it, and would they date people because of it? The answers weren’t surprising. 73% off people said they would be friends, 4% said they wouldn’t and 23% said maybe they would, or not. Another thing do they check their friends when checking their own; 1% said yes, 92% said no, and 7% said maybe.

Know that this study was done for LaRue students for their news site. Although others could easily take this for even more accurate answers, and all that has to be done is for another study to be conducted for not only information but also just to learn some new facts about people. Not only them but also facts about astrology, horoscopes. Now that’s so fun facts about students at Larue, and about astrology!
