Did you ever think about becoming a cheerleader? If so, you should read to figure out if you would be able to handle being a cheerleader.

Practices are between two to three hours on weeknights. Practices are longer on weekends. They prepare competition routine by practicing tumbling, stunting, and jump skills. They also learn sideline cheers for games.

Ashlen said, “The best part of the program at Larue County is that the team is more of a family. The girls and boys I have been teammates with over the last seven years have been the family I never asked for because I didn’t know how badly I needed them. The cheer program has an amazing group of middle school kids and underclassmen that will keep the program successful in upcoming years.”

The cheerleaders show how to work as a team. They spend so much time together that they may get close like a family. Cheer may not seem hard but you must be flexible to do the cheers.
