Halle Arnold is a Larue County Creative Writing student who enjoys to create, in both an artistic and descriptive ways of expressing topics.

My reflection on visiting a retirement home to collect story was better than I thought it was going to be. Lura, one of the residents whom Savannah and I questioned during this activity, was more eager and willing to tell us her whole life story than I initially believed she would. She was so eager, the only question we asked her was, “What is your full name”. Although we were lucky to have a resident who was kind enough to cooperate and tell us a story, others weren’t so lucky since their resident wouldn’t tell a story for them.

I really enjoyed this assignment and I would recommend anyone who has a passion of writing to ask someone questions and make a story out of it. It is a great learning experience I’m glad I got to be a part of.
