Will an “Upcoming event page” do our county good? “What? When? I didn’t know.” These are some of the questions I along with a major portion of the students at LaRue county high school say the day of big events. What can we do to prevent students missing big days like homecoming, prom, and other large events that people would love to support and be a part of?

First thing would be to create a page just for the upcoming events in our school system. Dates, times, locations etc. but would it help the students of LaRue make these much needed dates? One student responded with “Yes, because students would be more informed to what’s going on and how they can get rides and schedules set.”

Secondly, would all of the work put into the page from, asking teachers, getting meetings, and trying to find times, after moments of time they replied, “as well I would have today yes, finding these dates out and going through all of this work could settle in students being more well prepared in making schools activities than if the student was just told by word of mouth.”

Finally, as the last question arose, do you think It would be best if we posted all events ranging from teacher conferences to student charity car washes? This student though had a different idea than the others, “We should make it for both student and teacher, what if a teacher needed to know a specific date and time and instead of having to asking the right there on their devices.” This was a good point that most of the students interviewed did not respond with and it makes a lot of sense, not to mention our class gets support from other teachers.

These are the results that was obtained by some of the students in LaRue county high school, having an upcoming event page could be a big option for our students to grasp when every they are lost on dates and times.
