DIY Holiday Decorationse

holiday season, many people want to effectively add some festive spirit to their homes. This quick guide will give you some great ideas for holiday decorations that are both cheap and easy.

 

Christmas:

Giant Ornament: These giant ornaments look great as a outdoor house decoration.

  1. Items needed: Heavy duty string, large rubber balls (preferably in festive colors), and some metal buckets.
  2. First, glue the buckets upside down on top of the balls.
  3. Next, secure the buckets to your house by threading string though the handles of the buckets.
  4. Make sure you evenly space out your new decorations.
  5. Hopefully this added a decorative touch to your front porch. Enjoy!

 

 

Window Decorations: This is an exciting way to make your windows look magical.

  1. First take some leftover chirstmas tree decorations, (If you’re like my family, you got plenty of these)
  2. Then hang them at various lengths from your curtain rod using lengths of fishing string.

Halloween:

Creepy Coasters: Cups look creepy when sitting on these spindly saucers.

  1. To make these DIY Halloween decorations, hook five bobby pins onto a 3/8-inch flat metal washer.
  2. Then, wrap twine around and thread through each bobby pin.
  3. After that, spray-paint everything white for that ghoulish look
  4. To finish the look, you can sprinkle the table with black toy spiders.

Spooky Terrarium: This will give that eerie look to your tabletop or windowsill.

  1. First, gather rocks, moss, and grass from your yard.
  2. Next, gather birds, skeletons, bugs, or any other crrepy thing you would like.
  3. Build your scene on the lid of a mason jar.
  4. Next, carefully put the jar over your scene and screw on the cap.
  5. Arrange as needed and put the grass and rocks around the jars to create your base.

Thanksgiving:

Mantel:This scenic mantel will provide a sense of warmth to your house for your thanksgiving season.

  1. First, gather small pumpkins, fancy plates, and a small bundle of wheat.
  2. Next, symmetrically arrange the pumpkins and either hang the plates on the wall or put htem on a plate stand.
  3. Finally, put the wheat in two clear vases.
